Senior Software Engineer
We're tackling a deceptively simple problem: the administrative burden in healthcare is crushing clinical teams and degrading patient outcomes. This role sits at the center of our platform, designing and scaling the backend systems that ingest, normalize, and reason over messy clinical data. You'll ship Python and TypeScript services on AWS, own large data workflows, and collaborate closely with ML engineers to bridge production infrastructure with models that directly impact care quality. The work is technically deep, socially meaningful, and far removed from the usual ad-tech or fintech grind.
What they're looking for
- 6+ years building and maintaining production backend systems, with deep fluency in Python and modern TypeScript
- Strong command of AWS services and infrastructure-as-code practices for reliable, observable deployments
- Experience designing APIs and data pipelines that handle sensitive, high-integrity data at scale
- Comfort working in a regulated or compliance-heavy environment (healthcare, life sciences, or adjacent)
- Clear, low-ego communicator who thrives in a hybrid team and can reason through ambiguity without waiting for a spec
