When AI systems operate autonomously in the real world, they inevitably encounter complex legal boundaries—and crossing those boundaries creates massive liabilities. We are a tiny, well-funded team building the oversight infrastructure needed to keep intelligent agents compliant during live deployment. As a founding technical hire, you will architect the evaluation frameworks, runtime constraints, and observability tools that translate strict legal requirements into computationally enforceable boundaries.
What they're looking for
- 1-5 years of software or ML engineering experience shipping production systems.
- Fluency in Python and TypeScript for full-stack, backend, or infrastructure development.
- Practical expertise deploying on AWS with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience designing data pipelines or observability stacks using PostgreSQL, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Comfort operating in a pre-product-market-fit environment where requirements shift rapidly.
