Most robots today run perception software welded to a single machine: retrain the model, buy a new arm, start over. We're building vision systems that generalize — models that see, understand, and act across radically different hardware, from warehouse arms to humanoids. In this role you'll own the perception side of that problem: designing, training, and shipping computer vision models in PyTorch and TensorFlow that survive contact with messy real-world sensor data. Expect deep C/C++ work where latency matters, and research that becomes a robot's actual eyes.

What they're looking for

  • 3-10 years building computer vision or ML systems, with depth in PyTorch or TensorFlow and strong Python
  • Fluency in C/C++ for performance-critical inference at the edge
  • Hands-on experience with real sensor data - cameras, depth, point clouds - not just clean benchmarks
  • Comfort taking models from paper to production on physical robots
  • Based in or willing to work on-site in the South Bay Area
