Building AI-native infrastructure so healthcare systems never forget a patient.
Senior Software Engineer
We're designing clinical memory—software that listens to doctor-patient conversations and handles the documentation, follow-ups, and administrative threads that burn out clinicians and fracture care. As a senior engineer, you'll own large slices of the product surface, shaping everything from real-time audio pipelines and LLM orchestration to the provider-facing interfaces that make the system feel invisible. You'll work across a modern Python backend and a React frontend, shipping features that directly reduce physician exhaustion and keep patients from falling through the cracks. This is a ground-floor engineering role on a small, focused team in San Francisco, where your decisions will define the architecture, the roadmap, and the culture.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years building and operating full-stack web applications, with deep fluency in Python and a framework like Django or FastAPI
- Experience designing data models and query patterns in PostgreSQL, plus comfort with task queues (Redis, RabbitMQ) and containerized deployment (Docker, Kubernetes)
- History of shipping product features end-to-end—you write clean backend logic but care just as much about the UI that reaches clinicians
- Exposure to LLM APIs (OpenAI or similar) and a point of view on how to build reliable, auditable systems around non-deterministic outputs
- Comfortable in a high-ownership, on-site engineering culture where code review, architectural debate, and direct collaboration with clinical advisors are the norm
