Staff / Principal Platform Engineer, Infrastructure
We're building the substrate that lets developers ship AI experiences serving millions of concurrent users without thinking about the plumbing. You'll define how our platform teams provision, observe, and harden multi-cloud infrastructure across GCP, Azure, and AWS. This is engineering at the intersection of distributed systems, cost engineering, and the emerging discipline of inference infrastructure.
What they're looking for
- Eight or more years designing and operating production Kubernetes clusters at scale, with deep fluency in Terraform and at least two major cloud providers
- Track record of building self-service platforms that let application engineers deploy faster without breaking production
- Strong programming ability in Go or Python; comfort extending Kubernetes controllers or writing operators when off-the-shelf tools fall short
- Experience hardening multi-tenant environments for compliance-heavy enterprise deployments, not just consumer workloads
- Balance between shipping velocity and long-term infrastructure health—you've deprecated systems gracefully, not just built new ones
