Building software that turns raw data into operational advantage for national security missions.
Engineering Manager, Mission Agents
This team builds intelligent agent systems that fuse satellite imagery, signals data, and open-source feeds into a live operational picture — software that directly shapes decisions in the field. You'll lead a group of full-stack and ML-adjacent engineers shipping interfaces and backend services that defense operators rely on when the stakes are absolute. The work sits at the intersection of rapid product iteration and deep mission immersion, where you'll spend meaningful time understanding how users actually prosecute their objectives. We're looking for a manager who can drive technical architecture discussions in the morning and walk a classified user workflow in the afternoon.
What they're looking for
- 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years managing teams that shipped production services and user-facing applications
- Fluency across the modern web stack — TypeScript, React, NodeJS, Python — and comfort reasoning about data models in PostgreSQL
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineers through ambiguity: decomposing open-ended mission problems into clear, iterative delivery milestones
- Active U.S. security clearance (Secret or above) or the willingness and eligibility to obtain one
- Instinct for product craft and UX rigor in domains where users are domain experts, not casual consumers
