Software Engineer (Cloud Platforms)

Your mornings start where clusters meet code: designing control planes that provision GPU nodes, wiring RPC services to schedule training jobs across regions, and hardening Kubernetes operators against cascading failures. You'll own the Terraform modules our customers use to deploy production-grade AI infrastructure in twenty minutes, not twenty days. The work sits at the intersection of distributed systems and developer experience—every PR ships to real engineers wrestling with terabyte-scale models.

What they're looking for

  • 6+ years shipping production backend systems in Go or a similarly compiled language
  • Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes internals—operators, CRDs, schedulers, and the failure modes that matter at scale
  • Production fluency with PostgreSQL: query optimization, partitioning strategies, and running it under load
  • Comfort owning infrastructure-as-code, from Terraform module design to multi-cloud networking decisions
  • Track record building for developer-facing products; you think in interfaces and abstractions that hide complexity
