You are a builder who prefers solving hard problems in healthcare over shipping generic features. As the first engineering hire, you will architect the full-stack infrastructure that connects patients to life-saving trials using natural language. Your code directly impacts how quickly new medicines reach the market, bridging the gap between complex medical data and human conversation.

What they're looking for

  • 1 to 5 years of experience building production applications with TypeScript, Python, and Next.js
  • Proven ability to design scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and Docker
  • Deep familiarity with relational database design and optimization in PostgreSQL
  • Strong interest in applying AI solutions to complex challenges within healthcare or life sciences
  • Desire to work on-site in San Francisco as a foundational member of a small team
