You'll spend your mornings refining search interfaces that surface hidden hotel inventory, then prototype a new booking flow by afternoon. This role lives at the intersection of systems thinking and visual craft: building component libraries, shaping design tokens, and shipping full-stack features that handle real money. The work balances polished consumer surfaces with the complexity of inventory management across thousands of properties.

What they're looking for

  • 1+ years shipping production frontend code in React or similar modern frameworks
  • Fluency in CSS, design systems, and interaction patterns—not just implementing mockups but refining them
  • Comfort working across the stack: database queries, API design, and deployment pipelines
  • Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX judgment, from typography details to information architecture
  • On-site presence in New York; early team stage means close collaboration with founders and design leads
