Forward Deployed Engineer
We're building a platform that lets retailers shape every customer interaction in real time — turning product discovery, recommendations, and checkout into genuinely adaptive experiences. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll embed directly with our largest enterprise customers, writing the integration layer between their existing commerce stack and our AI engine. This means days split between architecting data pipelines in NodeJS and Go, building custom React dashboards that surface behavioral insights, and occasionally standing at a whiteboard in a client's office mapping out how a legacy ERP talks to a model trained three hours ago. You ship code that runs in production for household-name brands, and you learn their businesses deeply enough to spot product gaps our core engineering team hasn't seen yet.
What they're looking for
- 2–5 years of professional experience writing production TypeScript, JavaScript, or Go — you should be comfortable moving between frontend and backend without hesitation
- Proven ability to work directly with external technical stakeholders, translating ambiguous business requirements into scoped engineering deliverables
- Strong React fundamentals and experience building data-heavy interfaces that non-technical users rely on daily
- A habit of digging into logs, API responses, and database state before escalating — you default to investigation over assumption
- Interest in ecommerce infrastructure, personalization systems, or recommendation logic, and a willingness to learn the domain on the job
