Building long-range hypersonic strike systems to restore a credible deterrent for the United States.
Senior Power Electronics Engineer
This is a chance to own the power architecture inside vehicles that must survive and perform at the edge of known physics. You will design, simulate, and validate high-density converters, motor drives, and power distribution systems that feed flight computers, sensors, and actuation across a thermal and mechanical gauntlet few electronics ever face. The work spans clean-sheet schematic capture through to hardware bring-up in our Los Angeles lab, with direct line-of-sight to flight hardware. We are looking for someone who treats a 97% efficient converter as a starting point, not a finish line.
What they're looking for
- Deep experience designing isolated and non-isolated DC/DC converters, inverters, or motor drives in the multi-kilowatt range
- Fluency with wide-bandgap devices (GaN, SiC) and magnetics design for high power density, high temperature applications
- Proven ability to shepherd designs through layout, thermal management, EMI mitigation, and DFM for harsh environments
- Hands-on lab skills: bring-up, debugging with high-voltage probing, and correlating hardware behavior to simulation
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required due to security clearance eligibility
