Engineering Manager

We need an engineering manager to guide the teams replacing this legacy infrastructure with intuitive, AI-enhanced tools. You will lead a group of full-stack and platform engineers, balancing technical architecture across our diverse polyglot stack with the mentorship required to ship reliable software for county governments. This is an opportunity to build the digital backbone of public administration while steering a growth-stage organization through complex scaling challenges.

What they're looking for

  • 7 to 15 years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of managing and scaling engineering teams.
  • Deep technical fluency across frontend and backend ecosystems, particularly React, TypeScript, Python, Kotlin, Go, and PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on expertise provisioning cloud infrastructure using AWS, Docker, Terraform, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate the constraints of regulated or complex enterprise environments without sacrificing velocity.
  • Strong communication skills tailored for cross-functional alignment and technical mentorship in a fully remote setting.
