Your mornings might go to wiring up a new signal source so the platform notices when a target account starts hiring; afternoons to shipping a Next.js surface where reps review and edit agent-drafted sequences before anything sends. One week you're tuning retrieval in Python so lead suggestions stop being generic; the next you're fixing the edge case a customer found at 6 p.m. because you're the engineer and there is no one else. This is a San Francisco, on-site role at a very small company -- you'll own architecture decisions you'd wait years to touch elsewhere, and the product roadmap will change shape based partly on what you learn building it. The team you'd be joining sells to go-to-market and education buyers, so expect to sit in on sales calls and watch people actually use what you built.
What they're looking for
- Strong TypeScript and React skills, with production experience in Next.js
- Enough Python to build and debug data pipelines and LLM-backed features
- 0-5 years of experience -- raw ability and judgment matter more than tenure
- Comfort working on-site in San Francisco, five days a week
- Genuine interest in AI agents, sales tooling, or B2B products; opinions about where they're headed
