Building the infrastructure layer that helps modern health plans actually pay for the right care.
Full-Stack Product Engineer
We're a small, well-funded team rethinking the payment backbone between health plans and providers—where billions move through spreadsheets, faxes, and opaque contracts. As a product engineer you'll own features end-to-end, from shaping the database schema in Python on the backend to refining the UI in TypeScript and Next.js. You won't just ticket-take; you'll talk to early users, question why a workflow exists, and ship software that makes healthcare dollars go further without the administrative waste. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, ideal for someone who wants their code to matter in a broken-yet-massive industry.
What they're looking for
- 3+ years building and shipping full-stack web applications, ideally with Python and modern TypeScript or React frameworks
- Experience working directly with users or stakeholders to translate messy problems into clean product decisions
- Comfort owning a feature from database design through frontend polish and deployment
- Thoughtful about edge cases, data integrity, and the quiet complexity that comes with financial or healthcare systems
- Bias toward finishing—you value a shipped improvement over a perfect draft
