Senior Engineer, Platform

You'll spend most days in Python and TypeScript, building the APIs and backend services that keep tours running smoothly across thousands of units. The platform team owns the data pipeline that syncs availability, schedules visits, and feeds inspection insights back to property managers. Right now that means hardening our FastAPI services, tuning PostgreSQL queries for geographic search, and wiring Salesforce integrations so leasing teams stop drowning in manual follow-ups.

What they're looking for

  • 3+ years shipping production backend systems, with solid Python and at least one modern JavaScript framework
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure—preferably GCP—and infrastructure-as-code
  • Track record designing maintainable APIs and the database schemas they sit on top of
  • Comfort working across the stack when needed: React components, Node scripts, CI/CD pipelines
  • Based in or near New York City, able to collaborate in person a few days each week
