You are an engineer who finds deep satisfaction in making heavy models run reliably at the bedside rather than just in a notebook. Your days will focus on containerizing complex PyTorch workflows and orchestrating them across Kubernetes clusters to ensure radiologists get instant, accurate insights. This is a chance to construct the foundational plumbing for a healthcare startup where every millisecond of latency directly impacts patient outcomes.
What they're looking for
- Six or more years of production engineering experience with a focus on machine learning systems.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and PyTorch for deploying deep learning models.
- Deep hands-on experience managing containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- A proven track record of building scalable infrastructure within the healthcare or medical imaging sector.
- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco alongside a small, dedicated founding team.
