You'll shape how millions of people experience safety through the devices already in their pockets. This team is weaving on-device machine learning and live threat detection into native mobile SDKs—software that other companies embed to protect their own users. The work spans Swift and Kotlin, touches React for cross-platform surfaces, and demands a rigorous approach to latency, privacy, and reliability. You won't be bolting AI onto an app; you'll be designing the mobile layer that makes split-second safety decisions possible.
What they're looking for
- 2–6 years building and shipping native iOS or Android applications, with deep fluency in Swift or Kotlin
- Comfortable working across React when the problem calls for it, and opinionated about when it doesn't
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based collaboration in a team that ships frequently
- A track record of optimizing for performance, battery life, and offline resilience in mobile environments
- Clear communication and a habit of reducing ambiguity—you write things down, argue from evidence, and own outcomes
