Solutions Engineer

We're tackling one of the last truly unsolved corners of global commerce: the fragmented, high-stakes machinery of indirect tax. In this role, you won't be running canned demos. You'll design proof-of-concepts against live customer data, advise finance and engineering teams on how to embed tax automation into their own platforms via REST API, and shape the technical narrative that turns a skeptical architect into a long-term design partner. Expect to split your time between deep discovery sessions with enterprise prospects and close collaboration with product and engineering, translating field-learned friction into better platform capabilities.

What they're looking for

  • 4–8 years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting within B2B SaaS
  • Fluency designing and troubleshooting REST API integrations, with the ability to guide customers through authentication, webhooks, and data-model design
  • Comfortable discussing systems architecture with senior engineers while also building commercial trust with finance and tax leaders
  • Experience qualifying technical requirements and leading proof-of-concept engagements inside complex enterprise sales cycles
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English; additional European languages are a plus but not required
