Enterprise access control is a brittle patchwork of legacy policies and bolt-on permissions, and it breaks down just when trust matters most. You will architect the authorization logic that lets large organizations enforce access with mathematical precision instead of wishful thinking. This is deeply technical backend work at the intersection of security engineering and distributed systems, writing Go against PostgreSQL and deploying across Kubernetes.
What they're looking for
- 4+ years of backend or security engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Go for concurrent, networked services
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Kubernetes in production
- Deep understanding of authorization models, access control logic, or identity protocols
- Comfort navigating the ambiguity of an early-stage, tightly-knit engineering team
