You'll join a small, senior team building the infrastructure that lets banks reach broader pools of investors when they bring securities to market. The backend handles complex allocation logic, real-time data flows, and strict regulatory requirements at a scale where every millisecond matters. As a staff engineer, you'll shape core architecture decisions and mentor others while staying close to the code.
What they're looking for
- 6+ years shipping production backend systems in Java and Spring Boot
- Deep experience with PostgreSQL, data modeling, and performance tuning at scale
- Proven ability to design cloud-native architectures on AWS using infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
- Track record of integrating enterprise systems like Salesforce and data warehouses into cohesive platforms
- Comfort navigating ambiguity in early-stage environments with high engineering standards
