Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer
You'll parachute into customer environments and wire their chaotic data pipelines into production-grade infrastructure. One morning you're debugging a Terraform module for a GCP VPC; by afternoon you're whiteboarding Kubernetes autoscaling with a customer's platform team. The work sits at the messy intersection of pre-sales engineering, post-sales implementation, and infrastructure architecture—your job is to make complex deployments feel inevitable.
What they're looking for
- 3+ years hands-on with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production
- Proficiency in Python for automation, tooling, and glue scripts that hold integrations together
- Deep comfort across at least two of AWS, GCP, or Azure; Terraform fluency expected
- Track record of embedding with customers to ship infrastructure, not just tickets
- Solid grasp of data ingestion patterns and the failure modes that kill them at scale
