You'll spend Monday reviewing Terraform modules for a new multi-tenant isolation scheme, Tuesday tracing how a container escape in one customer cluster might propagate, and Wednesday pairing with the infrastructure team to harden our CI/CD pipelines before they touch three major cloud providers. This is ground-floor security work: no inherited legacy systems, no ticking down a compliance checkbox list someone else wrote. You're building the trust layer that lets engineering teams sleep through pager alerts.
What they're looking for
- 4+ years in infrastructure or application security, with substantial hands-on experience in containerized environments
- Deep fluency with Kubernetes threat models, from admission controllers to runtime forensics
- Production experience securing at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure; multi-cloud exposure strongly preferred
- Solid Go programming skills—enough to read, write, and audit code that runs close to the metal
- Willingness to work on-site in New York and help shape security culture at an early-stage company
