Engineering Director, Agent Context

Data tools still force people to context-shift constantly, losing the thread between question and answer. This role owns the engineering strategy that fixes that fracture, directing the systems which give AI agents the situational awareness they need to actually be useful. You will lead a focused group of engineers building the contextual backbone of the product, navigating complex infrastructure decisions in a growth-stage environment.

What they're looking for

  • 5+ years of engineering leadership experience managing high-output teams
  • Deep technical fluency across TypeScript, Python, React, and GraphQL
  • Proven background scaling infrastructure using PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes, and AWS
  • Strong bias toward infrastructure-as-code with Terraform in distributed systems
  • Demonstrated ability to drive architectural decisions for AI-native or data-heavy products
