An AI infrastructure company building the data layer that makes models actually work.

Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure

San FranciscoHybrid$200K - $300K4+ years
We’re scaling the substrate that turns raw, messy data into high-signal training inputs for frontier models — and the cloud infrastructure team owns the compute, networking, and orchestration that makes it possible. You’ll shape how we provision and manage multi-cloud GPU fleets across AWS, GCP, and Azure, designing systems that stay reliable when petabyte-scale workloads shift underneath them. This is a hands-on senior role with wide latitude: you’ll write Terraform modules and Kubernetes controllers one day, then rethink our entire CI/CD posture the next, always with an eye toward cost, observability, and developer velocity.

What they're looking for

  • 4+ years building and operating production infrastructure on at least two major clouds (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Deep fluency with Kubernetes and Terraform, including custom controller or provider development in Go or Python
  • Track record of owning CI/CD pipelines, container build chains, and developer platform tooling end-to-end
  • Comfort reasoning about GPU scheduling, high-throughput networking, and the cost/performance tradeoffs unique to AI workloads
  • Clear, direct communication and a bias for writing things down — RFCs, incident postmortems, runbooks
