Founding Engineer

You are the engineer who prefers writing Rust over attending status meetings and sees enterprise security as a puzzle worth solving from day one. This role demands building critical infrastructure in Go and Rust to defend networks against next-generation AI threats before the product even has a name. You will define the technical culture and architecture for a well-funded team launching in San Francisco.

What they're looking for

  • Production experience with Go or Rust, preferably in security or systems programming
  • A deep curiosity about how AI models can be exploited and defended
  • Comfort working on-site in San Francisco with a small, focused founding team
  • Ability to own complex technical challenges from concept to deployment without hand-holding
  • 0 to 5 years of professional experience with a portfolio of tangible engineering work
