Building autonomous robots that execute demanding physical labor.
Member of Technical Staff, Infrastructure
Physical autonomy demands more than clever algorithms; it requires infrastructure that never buckles under the weight of real-world data. You will architect the deployment pipelines, observability stacks, and backend systems that keep fleets of labor machines running flawlessly in the field. This is foundational work at an early-stage startup, where your code directly determines whether a robot completes its shift or stalls out.
What they're looking for
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining production infrastructure or backend systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and C/C++
- Proven ability to design robust deployment pipelines and observability frameworks
- Comfortable operating across the stack, from low-level hardware interfaces to cloud services
- Based in San Francisco and willing to work on-site daily
