You'll prototype and refine physical scenarios—robotic arms failing, thermal systems buckling, assembly lines jamming—that our platform renders for engineering candidates to diagnose live. Most mornings start in CAD, sketching the next failure mode; afternoons you're debugging how a servo response translates into browser-based physics. Later you might record a teardown of a misaligned gearbox to become tomorrow's assessment module. The simulations you build directly determine who gets hired across defense robotics, semiconductor fabrication, and aerospace manufacturing.
What they're looking for
- 4–10 years designing, building, or debugging electromechanical systems in production environments
- Deep familiarity with at least one CAD package and hands-on experience with physical prototyping, not just desk design
- Comfortable translating real hardware behavior into parameterized digital scenarios
- Experience in regulated or high-stakes manufacturing contexts—defense, aerospace, energy, or medical
- Early-stage startup tolerance: ambiguous requirements, direct customer exposure, and shipping weekly
