You'll sit at the intersection of product and design, translating raw model outputs into interfaces that feel intentional and trustworthy. Most days involve writing TypeScript and React, pairing with the founding engineers to ship features that help enterprise teams query, synthesize, and act on complex knowledge bases. Expect tight feedback loops with early design partners—your work ships fast and gets measured against whether users actually understand what the system is doing.
What they're looking for
- Strong command of modern React patterns and component architecture in TypeScript
- Portfolio demonstrating thoughtful UI for technically complex products or data-heavy workflows
- Comfort working from ambiguous briefs and refining interaction patterns through prototypes, not just polish
- Familiarity with AI/LLM interfaces and the specific UX challenges of generative systems—citations, confidence signaling, error recovery
- 1–4 years of relevant experience, with at least some of that time in a product-focused engineering or design engineering role
