You'll arrive each morning to a standup balancing React front-end refinements against Node architecture decisions that determine whether a diabetic's glucose alert fires on time. Your calendar splits between Pairing with senior ICs on thorny TypeScript abstractions, interviewing the next platform lead, and translating a patient feedback loop the clinical team surfaced into this quarter's OKRs. The codebase already serves millions of sessions monthly; your job is to keep latency low while the insurance credentialing footprint quadruples over eighteen months.
What they're looking for
- 10+ years shipping production software, with at least three leading cross-functional teams of 15+ in regulated or HIPAA-adjacent environments
- Demonstrated ownership of full-stack systems at scale: React SPA consuming a Node.js service layer, preferably with real-time or IoT data streams
- Track record partnering with product and compliance to ship through ambiguity—prior healthcare, insurance, or ML-ops experience strongly preferred
- Comfort operating in a hybrid NYC office culture where you'll be expected in-person Tuesdays and Thursdays, with flexibility otherwise
- Executive presence sufficient to present technical roadmaps to boards, auditors, and payer IT review committees alike
