Building the largest unmanned aerial vehicle swarm on the planet.

Software Engineer, Autonomy

RemoteRemote$175K - $250K3 - 8 years
We are fielding coordinated fleets of autonomous aircraft at a scale no one has attempted. This role sits at the intersection of onboard decision-making, distributed coordination, and the real-world physics of flight. You will design and ship software that lets hundreds of UAVs reason about their environment, communicate intent, and act collectively without a human in the loop. Every commit you make will eventually run on hardware in the sky, often in denied or contested environments where reliability is the only acceptable outcome.

What they're looking for

  • 3–8 years writing production software in Go, C/C++, or Rust, with a strong preference for engineers who have worked across at least two of those languages
  • Deep familiarity with RPC-based service architectures and the performance constraints of real-time or near-real-time systems
  • Experience shipping autonomy, planning, or controls software on physical robotic platforms — UAVs, ground vehicles, or maritime systems are all relevant
  • Comfort owning problems from behavior specification through simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and flight deployment
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required due to the nature of the work
