Senior Robotic Software Engineer

You are the engineer who prefers grease-stained prototypes over abstract simulations and understands that latency kills autonomy in physical systems. Here, you will architect the low-level control stacks in Rust and C++ that allow mobile manipulators to assemble server racks without human intervention. This is not a role for those who wait for perfect specs; you will define reliability standards while our fifteen-person team scales from prototype to production.

What they're looking for

  • 3 to 7 years of experience shipping embedded software in Rust, C, or C++.
  • Proven track record developing autonomy stacks for mobile robots or industrial manipulators.
  • Deep familiarity with CI/CD pipelines tailored for hardware-in-the-loop testing.
  • Ability to collaborate directly with mechanical and electrical engineers in an on-site San Francisco workshop.
