You'll sit shoulder-to-shoulder with property managers in Manhattan, diagnosing broken workflows on the spot and shipping Python fixes that same afternoon. One morning might mean debugging a tenant-screening integration; the afternoon, a quick API patch that saves a client twelve hours a week. This is engineering as embedded consulting—code that ships fast and earns trust faster.

What they're looking for

  • 3-6 years writing Python in production, with comfort across the stack from sketchy third-party APIs to frontend tweaks
  • Track record of working directly with non-technical customers—translating panic into tickets, tickets into deploys
  • Fluency in the messy reality of real estate data: duplicates, stale feeds, sudden schema changes
  • Willingness to be in the New York office most days; this role builds relationships through presence
  • Intellectual curiosity that outruns any specific framework—you'll be handed unfamiliar tools and expected to learn them live
