Building the agent layer that turns unstructured documents into structured, actionable data for the enterprise.

Developer Advocate

San FranciscoHybrid$150K - $250K0 - 5 years
You’ll be the bridge between a fast-moving engineering culture and the developers who rely on our open-source framework to ship AI-powered document workflows. This means writing reference applications, shipping SDK improvements, recording deep-dive technical content, and showing up wherever Python and TypeScript developers gather to figure out what’s actually real in AI right now. The team is small, the surface area is large, and the audience is engineers who hate being marketed to—so your instincts for substance over noise will matter more than your years on a resume. You’ll split time between our San Francisco office and your own setup, working directly with the people building the core platform.

What they're looking for

  • Comfortable writing and shipping code in Python or TypeScript—ideally both, but depth in one is a starting point
  • A public record of teaching technical concepts clearly: blog posts, conference talks, videos, open-source contributions, or detailed docs
  • Can read a research paper or a messy API spec and distill what actually matters for the developer who’s just trying to get something working
  • Eager to spend time in community forums, GitHub issues, and Discord servers—the role is as much about listening as it is about broadcasting
  • 0–5 years in a developer relations, engineering, or technical writing role; career-changers and non-traditional paths are genuinely welcome
