Software Engineer (Backend)

You'll write the control-plane code that turns a user's training job into a fleet of VMs running across AWS, GCP, or Azure—handling scheduling, pricing optimization, and fault recovery along the way. Most days you are deep in Python or Go, shipping services that talk to Kubernetes clusters via Terraform-managed infrastructure. You will own features end-to-end: sketching the RPC interface, debating trade-offs with the open-source community, and watching your code orchestrate thousands of GPUs by evening.
What they're looking for
- 3–8 years shipping production backend systems, with strong Python or Go
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and Kubernetes
- Comfortable reasoning about distributed systems: concurrency, fault tolerance, and state consistency
- Track record of working in early-stage environments where you design, build, and operate what you ship
- Bonus: contributions to open-source infrastructure tools or prior exposure to GPU/ML workloads
