Full-Stack Engineer (Ambient AI)
We're building ambient AI that listens during patient visits and instantly generates structured clinical notes, freeing physicians from the screen and returning them to the person in front of them. This isn't a scribe tool bolted onto an EHR—it's a ground-up rethinking of how care is captured, coded, and reimbursed. You'll work across the full stack, from the real-time audio pipelines and low-latency backend services in Python and Go to the clinician-facing interfaces in React and the mobile capture experience in Flutter. Every feature you ship directly subtracts hours of administrative burden from a clinician's day.
What they're looking for
- 2–4 years of professional experience building and shipping full-stack applications, with fluency in TypeScript, React, and either Python or Go.
- Comfort working with cloud infrastructure (AWS), containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes), and an understanding of how to design for observability and reliability in production.
- Experience with or strong curiosity about real-time systems—streaming audio, WebSockets, or event-driven architectures.
- A product-minded approach: you care about the user experience of a clinician mid-workday and can reason through tradeoffs from the database up to the UI.
- Clear communication and a low-ego collaboration style suited to a hybrid environment in the South Bay Area.
