What they're looking for

  • 5+ years shipping production backend systems, with substantial Python experience
  • Proven depth with AWS or Azure infrastructure, including scaling concerns and cost optimization
  • Experience deploying or maintaining ML models in production environments, not just research
  • Comfort working with complex data models and document-heavy domains; legaltech or fintech background a plus
  • Strong systems thinking: you design for failure, auditability, and long-term maintainability
