Product Engineer
You'll spend mornings pairing with researchers to turn a paper's evaluation logic into a runnable TypeScript environment, then afternoons shipping React surfaces that let customers inspect how their agents performed. Your code sits between raw Python simulators and the REST APIs that enterprise ML teams depend on. This is hands-on product building in a space where 'works in production' and 'advances the research' are the same bar.
What they're looking for
- 1–5 years shipping production software, with a preference for full-stack ownership
- Strong TypeScript and React; comfort jumping into Python for simulator integrations
- Experience with PostgreSQL at the application layer—schema design, query performance, migrations
- Ability to translate ambiguous research requirements into concrete API contracts and user flows
- Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco for daily in-person collaboration
