You are the engineer who prefers solving navigation problems where GPS signals vanish and recovery is not an option. This role tasks you with architecting the brain of autonomous underwater vehicles designed to execute one-way missions in hostile waters. You will translate cutting-edge perception research into hardened C++ code that guides hardware through the deep without human intervention.

What they're looking for

  • 5 to 15 years of experience developing robust software stacks in C++ and Python for robotic systems.
  • Proven expertise applying PyTorch or TensorFlow to real-time computer vision and sensor fusion challenges.
  • Deep familiarity with Docker, Git, and the full lifecycle of deploying software on embedded hardware.
  • Background in autonomy for uncrewed vehicles operating in communication-denied or GPS-denied scenarios.
