Software Engineer, Platform Team

Your mornings start with triaging Kubernetes clusters that orchestrate training pipelines across cloud regions. You'll write Python services to automate provisioning, refactor Terraform modules when AWS or GCP release new instance families, and debug why a PostgreSQL replica lagged during a model checkpoint. The platform team here owns the substrate every other engineer builds on—your work directly determines whether experiments ship this afternoon or next week.

What they're looking for

  • 3+ years shipping backend systems in Python, with production PostgreSQL experience
  • Deep familiarity with container orchestration—Kubernetes in anger, not just minikube tutorials
  • Fluency across at least two cloud providers; Terraform or Pulumi for provisioning infrastructure
  • Track record designing CI/CD pipelines that handle ML workloads, not just standard web deploys
  • Comfortable being on-call for systems that researchers and product engineers depend on
