You'll spend mornings pairing on agent orchestration in Python and afternoons untangling the quirks of a new financial data API. The work spans backend systems and full-stack features—think shipping a natural-language query parser, then debugging why a customer's ERP sync lagged overnight. Expect to write a lot of TypeScript and Python, argue about database schemas, and occasionally explain to a finance director why the AI's confidence interval matters.

What they're looking for

  • 3-8 years shipping production code, with substantial Python and TypeScript/Node.js experience
  • Built and maintained REST APIs, ideally with Express, and worked with relational databases at scale
  • Familiarity with LLM application development—LangChain, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks
  • Comfort owning features end-to-end: from system design through deployment on AWS
  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York City for daily in-person collaboration
