You'll embed with developers integrating AI agents into live email workflows—debugging API edge cases, refining SDK ergonomics, and turning customer friction into product insight. The work sits at the intersection of infrastructure engineering and developer relations: half deep-dive troubleshooting, half shaping what this platform becomes. You'll report directly to technical leadership in a five-person San Francisco headquarters where your observations from customer calls become tomorrow's roadmap priorities.
What they're looking for
- 3-9 years in solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or technical support for API-first products
- Fluency in Python and JavaScript/NodeJS with hands-on experience diagnosing REST API integrations
- Track record of translating ambiguous developer pain points into actionable bug reports or feature requests
- Comfort working in-person alongside founders and early engineers with minimal process overhead
- Genuine curiosity about how AI agents interact with legacy systems like email protocols and threading semantics
