AI communication layer for healthcare providers, built by a team of twenty in New York
Software Engineer
You'll ship features that let clinicians actually talk to their systems—building React interfaces nurses use at 2 a.m. and Node services that keep patient data moving without friction. Most days you'll trace a bug through a TypeScript API, pair on a PostgreSQL schema change, or原型 a new workflow with the product team before lunch. This is small-team work: your commits reach production fast, and the engineers who review your PR also sit three desks away.
What they're looking for
- 2–6 years shipping production code, with solid depth in either Node.js/TypeScript backends or React frontends—ideally both
- Comfort owning features end-to-end: rough spec to deployed code to follow-up metrics
- Experience with relational databases beyond ORM basics; you know when to add an index and when to rewrite a query
- Genuine interest in healthcare tooling—prior exposure to HIPAA, HL7, or clinical workflows is a plus, not required
- On-site in New York; you value the speed of in-person collaboration and whiteboard sketches
