Software Engineer — Agentic Systems

We’re assembling a small research team to build agentic systems that reason over live operational data — scheduling maintenance before a turbine fails, rerouting a logistics fleet mid-shift, or reconfiguring a production line while orders are still flowing. This is not prompt-chaining over documents; it’s about autonomous software that acts inside the physical economy. You’ll design compound AI architectures, wire them to industrial data pipelines, and work alongside domain experts who know what a bad batch of steel costs. The role blends deep experimentation with shipping discipline: prototypes move into factories, not slide decks.

What they're looking for

  • 4–7 years of software engineering experience, with at least two years focused on AI/ML systems or autonomous agents
  • Fluent in Python and comfortable reasoning about system design across services, queues, and databases
  • Experience taking research ideas through to production, including CI/CD ownership and observability in live deployments
  • Familiarity with planning, tool-use, or multi-agent coordination patterns — whether from reinforcement learning, classical planning, or LLM-based architectures
  • Clear communicator who can collaborate with manufacturing and supply-chain domain experts without expecting them to speak your stack
