Early-stage AI startup rebuilding how enterprises move goods and materials
Founding Engineer (Frontend)
You'll own the surface where supply-chain operators actually touch machine learning—building React interfaces that make freight routing, demand forecasting, and inventory decisions legible to humans who've never trusted a model before. Most days: prototyping dashboards with TypeScript and GraphQL alongside the founders, then scrapping half of it once you watch a logistics manager actually use it. This is frontend work with teeth—the UI failures here mean trucks sit empty or factories stall.
What they're looking for
- 2+ years shipping React in production, with TypeScript across the full stack of your features
- Fluency in GraphQL—schema design, query optimization, and the debugging that follows
- Demonstrated taste for complex data visualization; you've made messy operational data feel inevitable
- Comfort with ambiguity in a small team: you can scope your own tickets when the roadmap is three days old
- On-site in San Francisco; you want the overheard conversations and afternoon whiteboard sessions that distributed teams sacrifice
