You will spend your days designing rugged sensor suites and computing architectures that survive the dust and vibration of active mine sites. Your circuits become the nervous system for excavators and loaders, allowing them to dig and haul without a human in the cab. This role demands hands-on iteration where a morning spent soldering prototypes leads directly to afternoon field tests in the quarry.

What they're looking for

  • 4 to 10 years of experience designing embedded hardware for mobile or industrial robots.
  • Proven ability to create electronics that withstand extreme shock, temperature, and particulate exposure.
  • Deep familiarity with sensor integration including LiDAR, radar, and cameras for autonomous navigation.
  • Experience taking hardware from schematic capture through DFM, prototyping, and low-volume production.
