Visual progress tracking software for complex construction projects.

Machine Learning Engineer

AustraliaHybridNZ$150K - NZ$185K4 - 8 years
Massive construction sites still rely on manual walkthroughs and subjective guesswork to gauge progress. We need a machine learning engineer to teach software how to see the difference between a half-poured concrete slab and a finished floor. You will architect and deploy computer vision models that digest site photography and translate physical change into measurable data. This is a deeply practical role where inference runs at the edge of the build, not just in a pristine lab.

What they're looking for

  • 4-8 years of applied experience building and shipping computer vision models.
  • Fluency in Python, PyTorch, and OpenCV; familiarity with TensorFlow.
  • Working knowledge of C# to bridge models into existing desktop environments.
  • Proven ability to move models from research notebooks into production-grade systems.
  • Comfort operating in a growth-stage environment with cross-functional engineering teams.
