Data centers, aerospace facilities, and power grids depend on technicians whose hands are full, yet the software they rely on demands constant screen interaction. We are piecing together the underlying infrastructure for visual AI assistants that float contextual guidance directly in a worker's line of sight. As our initial frontend and backend hire, you will architect the cloud services, APIs, and interfaces that transform raw visual data into immediate, actionable intelligence on the factory floor. This is a ground-floor opportunity to lay the digital foundation for a physically demanding, high-stakes domain.
What they're looking for
- 2 to 5 years shipping production code with TypeScript, React, and NodeJS.
- Proven ability to design and scale backend systems using Python, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Infrastructure comfort across AWS or GCP, with practical Docker and CI/CD experience.
- Readiness to work on-site in San Francisco alongside two fellow builders at day-zero.
