Senior Product Engineer
You'll spend mornings in Python refining how we rank and surface early-stage companies from noisy data streams, then shift to TypeScript and React by afternoon—polishing the interface where investors actually explore what you've built. This is a product engineering role in the truest sense: you'll own features end-to-end, from schema design through the final animated interaction, often shipping the same week you prototype. The team is small enough that your commits reach users within hours, established enough that you're not rebuilding auth for the hundredth time.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years shipping full-stack software, with genuine depth on both frontend and backend—not leaning entirely one direction
- Fluency in Python plus modern JavaScript/TypeScript; production experience with React and at least one Node.js framework
- Comfort working with large, messy datasets and the patience to clean and structure them thoughtfully
- Track record of collaborating with designers and PMs to cut scope and ship something excellent, not just complete
- Located in the New York metro area, happy to be in the office a few days each week for the whiteboard sessions that still matter
