This team builds autonomous AI systems that integrate legacy factory infrastructure into a unified software layer, then deploy intelligent agents to optimize production workflows. You'll work on core challenges in robotics software, machine learning systems, and full-stack backend engineering that directly impact how factories operate. The role spans the entire stack—from low-level control code to distributed ML infrastructure—and reports directly into a lean technical team of seven in San Francisco or New York.

What we're looking for

  • 2–8 years of software engineering experience in machine learning, robotics, or full-stack systems
  • Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Rust for performance-critical applications
  • Experience building or operating production systems on AWS and relational databases like PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, industrial automation, or robotics domains (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to work on-site in San Francisco or New York
