Lab Robotics Engineer

We're looking for a Lab Robotics Engineer to join a 100-person team building automated systems for sequence analysis. You'll work on hardware platforms and control software that enables fast, accurate processing at scale. This is a hybrid role in San Francisco where you'll contribute to both the robotics infrastructure and the software systems that orchestrate it.

What we're looking for

  • 3-8 years of experience with robotics hardware engineering or platform development
  • Proficiency in Python and C# for control systems and automation
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and containerization (Docker)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, workflow orchestration (Airflow), and computer vision (OpenCV)
  • Strong problem-solving skills in designing and debugging automated systems
